I always did hate crowds. On days of celebration it comes as no surprise that such a thing would become a problem, whether they be a minor annoyance or something more. Weekends of course also have the potential for this though it rarely actually develops into an issue worthy of complaint. This particular day was neither a holiday or a weekend. It was a working day, a day with absolutely no significance whatsoever and yet I was trapped in a mob of people who seemed completely unaware of each other (or at least anyone who wasn't their direct company).
